The oldest part of the Fagriskógur house, built of hand hewn poplar logs c1877 (?), is nearing restoration completion. Just trim and a few cosmetics left. Today we ripped the moggey old carpet out of the kitchen and cleared out some trash in preparation for some carpentry coming up. One step at a time.
