With Conner McDavid winning the Conn Smythe Trophy (Playoff MVP) on a losing team, he becomes the second forward to do so as Reggie Leach (Berens River First Nation) was the first on a losing Philadelphia’s Flyers team in 1976. The same year he scored 19 playoff goals, which at the time was the most goals, in single playoffs season!
