School Council is excited to invite your family to Summerfest, an evening filled with fun activities, music, and community spirit. Children can enjoy a visit from the fire trucks and police cruisers along with face painting, a hair station, temporary tattoos, balloons, and plenty of bubbles.

We also have a variety of food vendors on site for anyone wishing to purchase dinner or a treat.

Ms. Bailey and her crew were serving up Hot Breakfast Thursday in style: breakfast pizzas loaded with scrambled eggs, chicken sausage, cheese, plus yogurt on the side. Happy bellies all around thanks to the generous support of PC Children’s Charity!

Ms. Ivanski and Ms. Stewart’s Grade 1 classes enjoyed a beautiful morning at Alain Potvin Park today! ☀️ They spent time on the hill and field flying kites, playing with beach balls, and chasing bubbles. It was the perfect way to enjoy the sunshine and make memories together! 🪁🫧

We had an amazing FIFA Day in Grade 5/6 French Immersion today! ⚽🌎

Students took part in a variety of World Cup-themed activities, including: “Fun facts” worksheets and a country word search, a soccer jersey design contest, a friendly soccer tournament, Flag bingo and we wrapped up our day by watching Team Canada play their first match of the tournament. 🇨🇦

It was a fun mix of learning, creativity, teamwork, and soccer excitement. Here are a few pictures from our day!

🐠🌊 While the weather heats up outside (and in our classroom!), our Grade 1 artists are staying cool by diving into an underwater adventure. Using mixed media techniques, students imagined themselves snorkeling and scuba diving among colourful fish, coral reefs, and ocean creatures. We love seeing their creativity make a splash! 🎨🐟
