Ey swayel,

We wish everyone on the Fraser River Keeper Canoe Journey a safe and enjoyable day on the water!

Our Environment Departments is proud to be a sponsor of the St'oqweleqw IPCA (Indigenous Protected and Conserved Area)

The Fraser River is more than a river. It is a lifeline, sustaining ancient forests, world-renowned salmon populations, and the people and communities who have long depended on these lands and waters. But this lifeline is in crisis. Salmon populations are collapsing. Wildlife habitat is being destroyed. Harmful pollutants still enter the river.

This is our moment to act. By 2030, we can permanently protect 30% of the Fraser Rivershed—in partnership with First Nations, whose knowledge, governance, and guardianship are essential to lasting habitat protection.

Sign your name to support Rivershed protection https://actionnetwork.org/forms/declare-your-support-for-the-fraser-river-challenge?source=email&
