📚 Will It Stay or Will It Go? Speed Round — Robert Munsch Edition!

We have so many books by the iconic Canadian author Robert Munsch that they can’t all possibly circulate the same amount! Quite a few are heading to the Last Chance Shelf, where readers have one more opportunity to check them out.

I have a feeling many of these books will find their way into readers’ hands soon, earning them another year or two on our shelves! 📖

I was surprised by which book was the most popular. Did you guess right?

📚 Just the kindergarten returns today! Even a small stack of books means little readers have been busy exploring stories and finding new favourites. ❤️

📚 Will it stay or will it go? This time, we're checking the careers section!

Books are considered for weeding if they're 10 years old or older and haven't been checked out in 3 years. Most of our career books have been well used, so we're only letting one go this time!

Are there any careers you'd like to see more books about? If you notice we're missing something, we're always happy to hear your suggestions!

📚 Giving this new I Survived graphic novel a little extra protection before it hits the shelves! These books are always popular, so a Kapco cover helps it stand up to all the attention it’s about to get. 😄

A little prep work now means more reading adventures later!

The Scholastic Book Fair is at the library Monday through Wednesday next week!

📚 The Scholastic Book Fair is coming!

We’ve been busy getting everything ready for next week’s Book Fair at the library! It runs Monday through Wednesday, with the fair open to the public on Tuesday from 3:00–8:00 p.m., during our regular library hours.

Every purchase helps support our library! We receive a percentage of the sales to put toward new books for our shelves. The Book Fair is our only fundraiser, so every purchase makes a difference. ❤️

And this year, there’s a little extra fun! Every book purchased earns one entry into a draw to win a poster. The more books you buy, the more chances you have to win!

Come browse, find something new to read, and help us keep our shelves growing. 📖

📚 Will they stay or will they go?

We’re wrapping up the N’s with the books by Laura Numeroff and Mary Nhin! Both are popular authors, so most of their books are staying on our shelves.

Just a few more books checked and another section of weeding done!

📚 See what the kids are returning to the library!

The return pile is always changing, and you never know what treasures might be coming back onto the shelves. Maybe you’ll spot your next read!
