**Emergency Preparedness Week** Having an emergency plan is crucial for being well-prepared. We have put together a list of essential items to incorporate into your emergency plan. Remember to keep your plan handy in your emergency kit.

Essential Items:
1. Safe exits from home and neighbourhood.
2. Meeting places to reunite with family of roommates.
3. Designated person to pick up children should you be unavailable.
4. Contact persons close-by and out-of-town.
5. Health and Insurance information.
6. Places for your pet to stay.
7. Risks in Region
8. Locations of your fire extinguisher, water valve, electrical panel, gas valve and floor drain.

This is also a good time to review/update your contact information and notify the appropriate people/organizations.

A little snow around the bunkie now, not as much use anymore with the trailer out front unfortunately, Will definitely be part of the Hideaway for visitors in the future!
