Rouleau Fire Department volunteer fire department We also have mutual aid agreements with other fire departments in the area.

The Rouleau & District Fire Department provides fire protection and rescue (for motor vehicle accidents) services to the Town of Rouleau, the RM of Redburn, the RM of Bratts Lake, and the Village of Drinkwater. We currently have 11 members, both men and women, from Rouleau and District. New volunteers are always welcome (training will be provided). Please contact the Chief (Wayne Rumford), the De

puty Chief (Dayne Wielgoz), or email [email protected] to join the Department. Interested people may also stop by during one of the 7:00 PM Monday night meetings (held every second Monday - not recycling Mondays). Rouleau Fire Department's Fleet:

Pumper 1: 2000 International Superior 1200 gallon Pumper/ Rescue Truck - Responds to all fire and rescue calls. Pumper 2: 1981 GMC King Seagrave 1000 gallon Pumper - secondary fire response unit. Rescue 1: 2008 GMC C5500 400 gallons brush/rescue truck - Responds to all fire and rescue calls. Rescue 2: 1998 Ford Rescue Truck - Responds to all fire and rescue calls.

Tonight's training for RFD involved rescuing a patient who was trapped on a mezzanine in a shop. Due to good teamwork and communication the rescue went smoothly. Thanks to everyone who participated.

Today at 11:50 Rouleau Fire was dispatched to a combine on fire 1 mile south of Drinkwater. Six members responded.

At 12:20pm Rouleau Fire Department was dispatched to a call Southeast of Drinkwater, commerical building on fire. 7 members, pumper1, rescue 1 & 3 responded.
