The Rouleau & District Fire Department provides fire protection and rescue (for motor vehicle accidents) services to the Town of Rouleau, the RM of Redburn, the RM of Bratts Lake, and the Village of Drinkwater. We currently have 11 members, both men and women, from Rouleau and District. New volunteers are always welcome (training will be provided). Interested people may also stop by during one of the 7:00 PM Monday night meetings (held every second Monday - not recycling Mondays). Rouleau Fire Department's Fleet:
Pumper 1: 2000 International Superior 1200 gallon Pumper/ Rescue Truck - Responds to all fire and rescue calls. Pumper 2: 1981 GMC King Seagrave 1000 gallon Pumper - secondary fire response unit. Rescue 1: 2008 GMC C5500 400 gallons brush/rescue truck - Responds to all fire and rescue calls. Rescue 2: 1998 Ford Rescue Truck - Responds to all fire and rescue calls.
