πŸ’œ Thankful Thursday πŸ’œ

Today we're sending a heartfelt thank you to The Body Shop for their generous donation of goodies for our families through their recent Mother's Day promotion.

Acts of kindness like this help us bring a little extra care and joy to the single parent families we support. We're so grateful for local businesses that choose to invest in their community and make a difference in the lives of others.

Thank you, The Body Shop, for thinking of local families and for helping us spread a little kindness. πŸ’œ

πŸŽ’ Help us send even more kids Back2School this year!

Each year, our Back2School Sponsorship Program helps single-parent families offset the cost of school supplies so children can start the school year feeling prepared, confident, and ready to learn.

This year, we have a goal: double the number of students we support for the 2026/2027 school year.

Want to help?

πŸ“š Sponsor a student by choosing a grade-level sponsorship tier.
πŸ“£ Share this post with your friends, family, workplace, or community groups.
πŸ’š Challenge someone you know to sponsor a student too.

The cost of heading back to school continues to rise, and many single-parent families are already making difficult choices between necessities and long lists of supplies requested for each child.
Together, we can help ensure more children start the school year with the tools they need to succeed.

We’re incredibly grateful to all of the local TELUS teams who came together once again during the TELUS Days of Giving to support single parent families in our community.

For the second year in a row, TELUS staff organized a goods drive and fundraising effort for our organization, and the impact of that generosity is truly meaningful. From essential household items to financial support, these contributions help us continue providing practical support, resources, and stability to families who are often carrying so much on their own.
Community partnerships like this remind our families that they are seen, supported, and not alone.
Thank you, TELUS, for your continued kindness, commitment, and care for the families we serve. We appreciate your ongoing support more than words can say. πŸ’œ
