A heads up to the community that the Tsawout Assembly of Praise (TAP) youth group will be playing a Tsawout wide game of tag/man-hunt this evening, June 5 from 7-9pm. If you are a youth between the ages of 12-18, we would love you to join. See the poster for details of where to meet. If you are a community member, we wanted to give you a heads up that there will be kids and adults running around that time! The police will also be joining us by having a fun station set up.

Temporary Summer Employment Opportunities – Public Works Department

The Public Works Department is currently hiring multiple temporary summer workers to join our team from mid-June through September.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable work experience while helping maintain and improve community infrastructure and public spaces. Summer staff will work alongside experienced maintenance personnel and assist with a variety of seasonal projects.

Position Details
Multiple positions available
Mid-June through September
Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm
Assisting Public Works maintenance staff
Roadside clearing and vegetation management
Grass cutting and grounds maintenance
General labour and seasonal maintenance duties

Applicants should enjoy working outdoors, be dependable, and be willing to work as part of a team.

Potential opportunities for continued employment may be available for successful candidates after the summer season.

We will be going swimming at panorama tonight from 5-7, any youth ages 12-18 please come by CFS building at 4:30 if you’d like to come!
