Construction has begun, beginning with getting the site ready for the laneway and building foundations.

Note that we are saving the topsoil, for strategic use across the area later.

We are pleased to have a local company - Beale & Inch Construction Ltd. - providing this excellent site work.

We had a great morning at the Sackville Farmers Market updating folks about the progress of our project, and letting them know how to connect with Freshwinds housing.

We are really excited! Things are moving along!

Come see us this Saturday June 20th at the Sackville Farmer's Market. We'll tell you more about co-operative housing and what our plans for Freshwinds are!

We will also be gathering names for our 'interested list', so when we are ready to welcome members for moving in, we know who to contact.

Do you think you may be eligible for a housing subsidy because you pay more than 30% of your income on rent? Find out by checking the Government of New Brunswick's eligibility guidelines for receiving a subsidy, at this website:

Freshwinds plans to have 21 of its units rent-geared-to-income, through this government program. You will need to be registered on their list, in order to be considered for one of these units.
