It’s a lively Monday at the Downtown Library ☔🎭📚
Due to the rainy weather, today’s Fizzlewit and the Magic Colours performances, part of the
International Children's Festival of the Arts, have moved indoors to the Downtown Library. With three sold-out shows at 10am, 11:45 am and 1:30 pm, plus drop-in family Storytimes at 11 am and 1 pm in the Children’s Library, things may be a bit busier and louder than usual.
We love seeing so many families enjoying the library together! 💛
If your little ones need a quieter experience, sound-dampening headsets are always available at the Children’s Desk.

🚧 Parking Lot and Book Drop Closure Notice 🚧
Starting June 2, the Courthouse parking lot will be closed until August 30.
This means:
❌ No access to the 24-hour exterior book drop at the Downtown Library

You can still return items:

✔️ Inside St. Albert Place:
Monday – Friday: 7 AM – 11PM
Saturday, Sunday & Stat Holidays: 7 AM – 9 PM
✔️Jensen Lakes Library:
24/7 book return available

Please do not leave materials outside. Thank you for your patience during this temporary disruption.

Obstacle courses, crafts, games, and storytime await—plus a special check-up for your cuddly friend.

Find us at Lions Park from 1:30-3:30 PM.

Things are starting to take shape for the International Children's Festival of the Arts!

If you're planning a visit to the Downtown Library this week, please note St. Anne Street is closed until June 3.

During the festival, we're hosting drop-in family storytimes daily at 11am and 1pm (Sunday is 2pm) in the Children's Library. We hope to see you there!
