Monday, October 12: Closed
Tuesday, October 13 – Friday, October 16: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.

🗺️ Looking for a map from the Brock University Library’s Map Collection?

The Map Collection has recently moved, and there are a few new steps for accessing the collection.

🔎 1. Find your map in Omni
Search Omni and make note of the map’s call number.

📧 2. Email us
Send the call number to [email protected] to request access to the map.

📅 3. Book an appointment
You’ll be invited to ST231 book a time to view the map.

📍 4. Visit the Map Collection
At your appointment, a Library staff member will meet you in Room ST231, retrieve the map, and provide a space for you to conduct your research. When you’re finished, close the door and leave the map in the designated space.

On Tuesdays during the fall semester, our Map and GIS Specialist will be holding open office hours in ST 231 from 4- 5 p.m.

Working in the User Services & Engagement department, the assistant is a member of the resource sharing team, contributing to the daily processing of borrowing and lending resource-sharing and interlibrary loan (ILL) requests. In addition, the role provides circulation, basic copying and printing services, and reference assistance to users at the Ask Us Desk.

A lot has changed at the Brock Library over the years. But what hasn't changed is the excitement of welcoming students back to campus each fall. 📚🍂

As a new academic year begins, thousands of students will once again walk through the Library's doors, meet friends, find their favourite study spots, start new programs, and prepare for the year ahead. It's a tradition that has connected generations of Brock students.

These photos pair moments from the Library's past with scenes from today, showing how our spaces, technology, and services have evolved over the years. Yet one thing remains constant: the energy of students returning to campus and bringing the Library to life.
