The Kristen French Child Advocacy Centre Niagara’s Kids First Project offers presentations and workshops for students from JK to Grade 12, covering topics such as personal safety, boundaries, healthy relationships, and online safety.

🧸💛 A big thank you to our friends at Profile Products Quick Plug Canada!

All month long, their incredible St. Catharines employees have been collecting brand-new teddy bears and stuffed animals to donate to the Centre. Today, their team arrived with two huge boxes filled with brand-new stuffies for our kids! 🧸📦

Every child who comes through our doors for an investigation will have the opportunity to choose a stuffy to take home with them. These cuddly companions may seem simple, but they can bring a little comfort, reassurance, and a sense of security during a difficult time. Kids get to pick out their favourite one, give it a name, and take it home with them as they start their healing journey. ❤️

Thank you to the entire Profile Products Quick Plug Canada team for thinking of our kids and showing them so much kindness and care. We are so grateful for your generosity! 🥰🧸💛

💙 One year of supporting children through every step. 💙

Since launching in June 2025, the Child Victim & Witness Program at the Kristen French Child Advocacy Centre has been helping children, youth, and families navigate one of the most difficult experiences they may ever face—the criminal justice system.

When criminal charges are laid, our Child Victim & Witness Specialists walk alongside children and their caregivers, helping them understand the court process, preparing them for what to expect, accompanying them to court, and advocating for their unique needs every step of the way.

Over the past year:
💙 127 cases have been referred to the program.
💙 Those cases involved 191 children and youth.
💙 Every child received trauma-informed, individualized support designed to help them feel safe, informed, and believed.
