The owner of the boat currently berthed without authorization at the municipal dock is requested to remove the vessel no later than Wednesday, October 14, 2026. Docks are scheduled to be removed next week.

Overnight berthing/docking is not permitted at municipal owned docks, boats will be towed at the owner's expense.

Eastern Charlotte assumes no responsibility for any loss, damage, theft, injury, or incidents that may occur while the vessels are docked.

🛹𝐒𝐤𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞: During the construction period, the skatepark will be closed. It will be relocated to a new spot within the same area, bringing a refreshed space to enjoy with the goal of opening in summer 2027.

The municipal office for Eastern Charlotte will be closed today, Wednesday, September 30, 2026, in observance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

The office will open for regular hours tomorrow, Thursday, October 1.

Our deepest condolences to His Worship, Mayor Michel Soucy’s family, friends, colleagues, and the entire community of Campbellton.

For more than 20 years he gave his time, his energy, and his heart to the people he represented. A long career in municipal leadership is a tremendous commitment, and his years of service will be remembered and appreciated by many.

On behalf of Eastern Charlotte, we extend our sympathies to his family and community during this very difficult time.
