As another incredible school year comes to an end, we want to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude to TELUS for their incredible generosity and support of our students.
Thanks to a generous grant from TELUS, our school was able to purchase an entire classroom set of brand-new laptops for our Cycle 3 students. This investment will make a meaningful and lasting difference in the lives of so many learners.
As technology continues to play an increasingly important role in education, and as the number of students requiring assistive technology continues to grow, having access to these devices is more important than ever. These new laptops will allow us to provide assistive technology in a much more accessible and equitable way, helping students access the tools they need to learn, succeed, and reach their full potential.
We are incredibly grateful to TELUS for believing in education and helping us better support the diverse learning needs of our students. Your generosity will have a positive impact for years to come.

Today we celebrate an incredible milestone and a truly remarkable person.

After 27 years of dedicated service at St. John’s School, Azra Muzaferovic is retiring. For nearly three decades, Azra has been the welcoming face, calming presence, and steady heart of our school community. She has supported countless students, families, staff members, and principals with kindness, professionalism, and unwavering dedication.

Her impact reaches far beyond the office. Through every busy day, special event, challenge, and celebration, Azra has helped make St. John’s a place where people feel cared for and supported.

Thank you, Azra, for 27 years of commitment, compassion, and service. Your contributions have touched thousands of lives and helped shape our school community in ways that will never be forgotten.

We wish you happiness, good health, new adventures, and all the joy that retirement brings. Congratulations on a well-deserved retirement!

🌞 Outdoor Activities Day
— June 15th 🌿

Last week, many of our high school students enjoyed a vibrant Outdoor Activities Day filled with sunshine, games, and music.

They took part in Gladiator, Bulle Box, and Speedy Bottes soccer, and many also visited our Henna artists.

Students ate lunch outside, creating a relaxed picnic atmosphere to celebrate the end of the year.

On May 20th, students had the chance to take part in an after-school tufting workshop and try out a new form of textile art. They enjoyed getting creative, learning a new skill, and taking some time to relax through a hands-on activity.
