With the rising problem of people ignoring fire bans more fires are up and stretching resources

Resource Enforcement will be investigating all incidents they are informed of and laying charges where appropriate.

On behalf of the St Lunaire Griquet Fire Dept we would like to extend our deepest thanks and sincere gratitude to everyone who stepped up and gave support to the first responders on scene over the days from Sunday June 29 - Tuesday jul 01. To everyone (as there are way too many to name individually) who brought coffee , water , beverages , sandwiches, pizza , warm food to essential equipment like motors , underwater cameras , boats , drones etc.. your continued support does not go unnoticed and helps in a very big way for us our jobs on these scenes again Thank You

To the St Anthony Fire Dept your continued dedication and services have been paramount to mutual aid efforts over the past years and moving forward from personnel , gear and apparatus to support and consultation we look forward to continuing the work together.

We the St Lunaire Griquet Fire Dept would like to extend our deepest condolences to the St Anthony Fire dept and The Ellsworth Family on the loss of a fellow firefighter and good friend and family member , we are here if you need anything we are here .

Residents of St. Lunaire-Griquet and Gunner's Cove, would you be interested in becoming a Volunteer Firefighter with the St. Lunaire-Griquet Fire Department. We have a number of openings for firefighters and we are currently accepting new applicants. If you are interested please drop by the Town Hall and pick up an application to apply...all applications must be in by 3:00 pm April 30th, 2021.
