Commemorative Plate, Corinth United Church, 1980
Commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Corinth United Church.

Located at 1311 Henry Street (Best Line) in Corinth, Bayham Township.

In the 1840s before a formal church building existed, two separate Methodist congregations, known as Moss-Benson and Jones' Corners, operated in the Corinth area.
In 1880, these two congregations merged. They constructed the brick building featured on plate to serve the community. It originally functioned as the Corinth Methodist Church. In 1925, the Methodist Church merged with several other Protestant denominations to form The United Church of Canada.
At this point, the church officially became the Corinth United Church.
The church closed in 1997 and was rezoned for residential use.

Commemorative Trivet, Christ Church in Port Stanley, Ontario
Gift of Bob Moore

Christ Church Anglican, was built in 1845 on land gifted by Lieut-Col. John Bostwick in 1826. The church is Port Stanley’s oldest surviving building. The bell tower holds a 400-lb bell installed in 1854, imported from Troy, New York.

This handkerchief case belonged to Mary E. R. Duncombe, the daughter of Dr. & Mrs. E. E. Duncombe (1836–1917) of St. Thomas, Ontario.

"Game of the Lost Heir" card game manufactured by Canada Games Co. Ltd. during the 1920s.

🃏 Instead of standard suits, you play as police departments from four major Canadian cities—Toronto, Montreal, Winnipeg, and Halifax—all competing to hunt down the missing heir.

It plays a bit like trick-taking games (think Pinochle or Euchre), where you score big points if you find the "Lost Heir" card, but lose points if you accidentally rescue the "Wrong Boy."

Miniature Swift Coal Scuttle c.1950

This miniature brass coal scuttle is engraved with "Swift Coal Co. – Phone 286 – St. Thomas." Once used as a promotional item, these small scuttles could hold matches or simply serve as a decorative keepsake.
The coal and wood supply business was operated on Hiawatha Street, St. Thomas, by W.H. Swift.
