📝 Bylaw Enforcement Officer I - Full-Time Relief | Six-Month Term

Are you a strong communicator who can approach challenging situations with sound judgement, tact and diplomacy? This role responds to community concerns, investigates bylaw and animal control matters and supports the fair and consistent enforcement of municipal bylaws.

A little rain could not dampen Salmon Arm’s community spirit! Thank you to everyone who weathered the storm and came out to cheer, wave and celebrate at today’s Salmon Arm Fair Parade.

From colourful floats and smiling faces to umbrellas lining the streets, it was wonderful to see our community come together and make the most of a rainy parade day. ❤️

A big thank you to the Salmon Arm and Shuswap Lake Agricultural Association and everyone involved in bringing the parade and fair to life each year.

🚧 Road Closure: 30 Avenue NW

The City of Salmon Arm Public Works Department advises that 30 Avenue NW, (between 50 Street NW and 60 Street NW), will be temporarily closed to accommodate the installation of a new culvert.

📅 Wednesday, August 26 (7 AM) - Friday, August 28, 2026 (5 PM)

A section of the roadway will be removed to complete the work, and the closure will remain in place throughout the three-day period.

➡️ Please use 40 Avenue NW or 10 Avenue NW as alternate routes to connect between 50 Street and 60 Street NW.

Please plan for delays and disruptions and use alternate routes where possible.
