Challenge to all other First Responders in Municipality of Colchester and Town of Truro: Tomorrow Claire is having her 7th annual Lemonade Stand. All $ raised goes to Kids Help Phone and CHMA Truro. This is a special year and we are asking First Responder groups to consider having their members donate pool their refundables and take them to Subway Bottle or other exchange and drop those monies into Claire tomorrow.
We know Bible Hill Fire & Emergency are gathering theirs for the morning. Salmon River Fire Brigade may be dropping over...who else? Emergency Health Services - EHS? Truro Police Service? Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Nova Scotia Colchester? Our valued tow services?
How can we be more like Claire?

This Saturday, there is something pretty special happening on College Road in the Village of Bible Hill. We encourage you to drop by and support this cause by buying some lemonade from Claire and her team.
We challenge all first responders in our area to find the time in the day to support this Claire and her lemonade sale.

Before you put your mower away, give it time to cool down! A hot muffler can ignite grass clippings, fuel vapours, or nearby chemicals and quickly turn a routine task into a devastating fire. Let your mower cool outdoors for 15–30 minutes, clear away debris, and check for fuel or oil leaks before storing it safely. A few extra minutes can help prevent a fire and protect your home, garage, and community. 🚒

Outside the fire service, many members also help out in the county! SRFB Chief and 4H Beef Leader Larry Weatherby Jr is helping to keep the cows comfy during the NSPE this week.
