On Friday, June 5th, Sarnia Police Service will join our partners in law enforcement, local Special Olympic athletes, and their families and friends for the Law Enforcement Torch Run.
The Law Enforcement Torch Run is an event we look forward to every year. It is an opportunity to raise awareness and show our support for our local Special Olympics athletes, and cheer them on ahead of their summer events.
Each year, community members line the streets to cheer on the athletes. If you would like to cheer us on, the run will commence at 10:30 AM from the parking lot by the splash pad under the bridge in Point Edward, head eastbound on Michigan Ave, south on Colborne Rd, and west on Errol Road, ending at the courthouse. Minor traffic delays in the area are to be expected while the run takes place.
