🎉 Congratulations to the Newly Inducted SWONT Executive! 🎉

Yesterday, the Sarnia Lakeshore Chapter was pleased to be represented at the SWONT First Quarter Conference held in Windsor, where the SWONT Executive was duly inducted.

Representing Sarnia Lakeshore at this important event were Lt. Gov. Lynn, Secretary Margaret, and Director Ray, who joined fellow members in celebrating this significant occasion and supporting the continued growth and leadership of SWONT.

We extend our congratulations and best wishes to the newly inducted Executive as they begin their leadership journey. May their term be filled with success, collaboration, and meaningful accomplishments as they continue to serve and strengthen our organization.

🧡 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation 🧡

Today, the Sarnia Lakeshore Optimist Club takes time to reflect, listen, learn, and honour the children who never returned home, the Survivors of residential schools, and their families and communities.

Truth and Reconciliation is an ongoing journey that calls on each of us to learn about the history and lasting impacts of residential schools, recognize the experiences of Indigenous peoples, and work toward a future built on respect, understanding, and meaningful reconciliation.

Today and every day, we wear orange to remember, to honour, and to help ensure that Every Child Matters. 🧡
