It's almost time for the Celebration of Lights, and we need YOUR help!

The Opening Ceremonies are just around the corner, and we're getting ready to bring the magic of the Celebration of Lights back to Centennial Park!

This Saturday, October 24th, we're holding our annual Displays to the Park Day, and we're looking for volunteers to help us move our displays into place!

📅 Date: Saturday, October 24th

⏰ Time: Starting at 9:00 AM

📍 Meeting Location: Behind Sandrin Services, 150 Exmouth Street, Sarnia

🚛 What We Need:

Approximately 20 volunteers to help load and transport displays.

Trucks and trailers (trailers should be at least 14 feet long).

Larger flatbed trailers or tractor-trailers would be especially helpful, allowing us to transport multiple display carts in a single trip!

A Big Thank You!

Our friends at Sarnia Blessings will be providing hot drinks and refreshments to help keep our hardworking volunteers warm and energized throughout the morning!

The Celebration of Lights is a wonderful Sarnia tradition, and it takes the support of our amazing community to make it happen year after year.

Whether you can lend a hand, bring a truck and trailer, or help spread the word, we'd love your support!

Let's work together to bring a little holiday magic to Sarnia once again!

HEY SARNIA!!!!

It's that time of year when we start gearing up for the CELEBRATION OF LIGHTS!

This coming Saturday, October 24th is our DISPLAYS TO THE PARK day. Starting at 9 AM at behind Sandrin Services ( 150 Exmouth Street ) we need to transport our displays to Centennial Park. We need several trucks and trailers and about 20 volunteers to make this happen smoothly. Trailers should be at least 14 long. If anyone has a longer flatbed and tractor trailer that would be ideal as we could put several of our carts on there in one load.

Sarnia Blessings will be providing hot drinks and refreshments for the volunteers.

A huge thank you to Jon Boot construction for giving up their Saturday to help put the last of the displays away!

Today Sarnia lost one of the great ones. Paul Babcock Jr. one of our former Board members and long time supporter of the Celebration of Lights went home to be with Jesus! He was a caring, helpful man who loved Sarnia and loved to do things that would bless kids. You will be greatly missed my friend. We all grieve the loss with your family.

A HUGE shout out to the several local fabricators who have offered to help us with our current display repairs. Tyson Fulcher contacted us first and has graciously offered to pick up, repair and deliver back the display frame parts we need fixed/fabricated. Thanks so much Tyson!

For the other fabricators who have also offered their generous help, we might need your help with building new displays. We'll be in touch.

We are so blessed by the sacrificial spirit of this community, Sarnia you are awesome!

HEY SARNIA-LAMBTON!!!!

Theresa Chalmers - Limitless Photography has been soooo gracious to offer her professional photography services at NO CHARGE at our Opening Ceremonies for the last many years. Thank you Theresa!

Sadly, she's not able to do this for us this year for our Opening Ceremonies when we turn on the lights on Saturday, November 28th.

So, we're looking for another professional portrait photographer who would be willing to help. A tent with heat, tables, chairs and string lighting will be provided for you as well as the chair for Mrs. Claus and Santa. We're needing the photographer to provide the background and onsite printing.
