A1 Security Crime of the Week

The Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking
the public's assistance in identifying individuals involved in a theft incident in Corunna.

On May 23, 2026, shortly before 6:30 p.m., two individuals entered a business on Lyndoch Street, filled
reusable tote bags with assorted merchandise and left the store without making payment. The
individuals then departed the area in an older model white Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck.
The estimated value of stolen merchandise exceeds $200.

The investigation remains ongoing.

A1 Secrurity Crime of the week

The Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a break and enter at a business on Old River Road in Port Lambton.

On May 14, 2026, members of the Lambton OPP responded to a report of a break and enter at the business. Investigation determined that at approximately 2:45 a.m., an unknown individual attended the property on a bicycle while carrying a backpack. He then entered an outbuilding on the property and stole multiple power tools before leaving the area.

The estimated value of the stolen property is approximately $6,000.

The suspect is described as:
• l Male
• l Black hoodie with large white logo on chest
• l Grey Earhart jacket
• l Black pants

The suspect was observed riding a grey bicycle with bright red handlebars.

The investigation remains ongoing.

The Sarnia Police are looking for the public’s assistance identifying a suspect in a stolen vehicle occurrence.

On May 9, 2026, around 1:09 am, a Grey GMC Sierra pickup was stolen from a driveway on Samuel Street, the suspect(s) broke the ignition to start the vehicle. Officers checked video in the area and an unknown male was observed walking southbound along the west side sidewalk toward the vehicle.

The male was wearing a light-coloured hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, dark pants, and white shoes with a black sole. The male was observed walking around the front of the Sierra and entering the vehicle.

At 4:15 am, the Lambton OPP recovered the stolen GMC Sierra pickup truck unattended in the town of Watford.

Residents in the area of Confederation Street and Samuel Street and the 300 block of Confederation Street are asked to check surveillance cameras and contact Cst Pat Smith at 519-344-8861 x6245.

A1 Security Crime of the Week

On the 13th of April 2026, Sarnia Police was dispatched to a business on Campbell Street to investigate a break and enter that had occurred.

While on scene officers reviewed the security footage and observed that at approximately 0400hrs, a lone suspect entered the east side of the property. The suspect was wearing a black hoodie with a white logo on the front, and black pants. Officers observed the suspect walk past the camera with his hood up and head turned away to avoid the view of the camera.

At 0409hrs, the suspect was seen breaking the locks and door latches inside a unit. The suspect then made entry into the unit, unknown what was taken at that time. At 0412hrs, the suspect was seen breaking the locks and door latches to two other units however he did not make entry.
At 0425hrs, the suspect was seen breaking the locks and door latches to two other units and making entry. Unknown what was taken at that time.

The estimated value of damage to the property was approximately $30,000.

A1 Security Crime of the Week

Sarnia Lambton Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s assistance with any information regarding 3 cold case unsolved murders still outstanding with both Sarnia Police Service and Lambton OPP.

On March 16th 1974, Karen Caughlin was found in a ditch north west of Petrolia. It was determined that she had been struck by a motor vehicle and run over. The suspect vehicle is an early 1970’s “plum crazy purple” Chrysler/Plymouth/Dodge product.

On August 25th 1988, Morag Davies was found murdered in her home on Retlaw Drive, in the city of Sarnia. She had been stabbed multiple times. The murder weapon has never been found.

On December 28th 2001, Robert “B J” Raymond was attending a bar on Christina Street, in the city of Sarnia when an altercation in the parking lot broke out resulting in “B J” being stabbed and later died at hospital.

The families involved deserve justice and closure for these horrific acts that took the life of one of their family members and changed their lives forever.

A1 Security Crime of the week

The Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating multiple incidents of mischief after graffiti was discovered at several locations in the Town of Petrolia.

On April 24, 2026, Lambton OPP received reports of spray-painted graffiti at four locations, including municipal washroom facilities and a local business. The affected areas include public washrooms on Greenfield Street, 4th Street, Fletcher Street, as well as an interior washroom at a business on Tank Street.

It is believed the graffiti occurred on April 23, 2026, between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. The graffiti has since been removed.

The investigation is ongoing.
