OPP INVESTIGATING THEFT FROM A BUSINESS IN FOREST

The investigation determined that on August 17, 2026, at 12:40 p.m., two unknown individuals attended
a business on King Street in a dark-coloured sport utility vehicle. The passengers exited the vehicle and
entered the store, while the driver remained in the vehicle. The two individuals took approximately
$500 worth of meat products and left without paying. All three individuals left the property in the sport
utility vehicle.

Suspect #1:
l White male
l Medium build and bald
l Medium-length brown beard
l Seen wearing a grey graphic T-shirt and black shorts

Suspect #2:
l White male
l Large build
l Scarring on his face
l Tattoo sleeves on both arms
l Seen wearing black s**t, grey shorts and sunglasses

No description is available for the third suspect, who remained in the vehicle.

A1 Security Crime of the week
Lambton OPP are seeking public assistance in locating and identifying those responsible for the theft of copper wire in St. Clair Township.
On August 17, 2026, shortly before 7:00 a.m. members of the Lambton County Detachment of Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a reported theft from a business on Oil Springs Line between St. Clair Parkway and Greenfield Road in St. Clair Township.
The theft occurred between Saturday August 15, 2026, after 2:00 p.m. and the morning of August 17, 2026. The individual(s) gained access to the property by cutting a locked gate on the perimeter before entering the property and stealing copper wire spools.
The estimated value of the theft is $1,000,000.
The Lambton County OPP are also seeking the public's assistance in locating a vehicle believed to be used in the commission of the theft. The suspect vehicle, which had previously been reported stolen out of Sarnia on August 2, 2026, is described as a 2007 white international model 40S heavy truck.
Police are urging scrap metal dealers and recycling facilities to contact the Lambton County OPP or Sarnia Lambton Crime Stoppers if they receive a large quantity of copper wire. This information could assist investigators in identifying stolen property and those responsible for recent copper wire thefts.

A1 Security Crime of the week

The Sarnia Police Service is seeking information regarding a break and enter that occurred at a business in Northgate Plaza during the early morning hours of July 31, 2026.
At 1:41 a.m., police were dispatched to the business after receiving a report of a break and enter. Officers arrived within minutes and discovered the front glass door had been smashed. A containment was established around the building, and the Sarnia Police Service K9 Unit attended to search the premises. The building was cleared, and no suspect was located.
Investigators reviewed surveillance footage and learned that the suspect arrived in the area at 1:30 a.m. The suspect was observed walking around the perimeter of the building before using what appeared to be a small sledgehammer to smash the front entrance door at 1:37 a.m.
The suspect is described as:
• White male
• Over 6 feet tall
• Wearing a maroon hooded sweater with the hood pulled up
• Black sunglasses
• Face mask
• Black shorts
• Black shoes
• Bright orange gloves
The suspect arrived and fled on a bright orange bicycle.
After forcing entry into the business, the suspect searched the cash register drawers, which were empty. The suspect then exited the store, walked eastbound to retrieve the bicycle from the side of the building, and then biked away from the area in an eastbound direction.

(THEDFORD, ON) - The Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking
the public's assistance in identifying two individuals in connection with the theft of a golf cart in
Thedford.
On July 31, 2026, Lambton County OPP received a report of a stolen golf cart from a campground on
Northville Crescent.

The investigation determined that at approximately 5:58 a.m. on July 30, 2026, two unknown individuals
attended a campground lot and drove away with the golf cart.

The stolen golf cart is described as:
l 2023 MadJax X Series (Lifted)
l 48-volt electric
l Dark blue
l Off-road tires
l Serial number: 2247ST1042001021

On July 24, 2026, members of the Sarnia Police Service responded to a report of a break and enter at a construction site in the 1400 block of London Road.

During the incident, a fenced compound was damaged and approximately $2,000 worth of tools were stolen.

The suspect is described as a male wearing a black sweater and beige pants.
