Strengthening our local connections and standing up for Sarnia–Lambton-Bkejwanong! This summer, we were proud to host two outstanding events that brought residents together to discuss the future of our amazing country and the challenges that everyday Canadians are facing! 🇨🇦🔵

To kick things off, we had a strong turnout in Forest for our Sarnia–Lambton Conservative community BBQ with keynote speaker MP Larry Brock and Lianne Rood M.P.. Larry delivered a clear message on the rising concerns around crime and repeat offenders, and the failures of the current government’s approach to public safety. He emphasized that Canadians deserve safe streets, strong communities, and a justice system that puts victims and law-abiding citizens first.

More recently we hosted another community event at Canatara Park with over 100 attendees! We were pleased to welcome MP Andrew Lawton as our keynote speaker, along with MP Dave Epp and Kurt Holman M.P.

Our attendees raised important concerns about certain biases in Canada’s mainstream media and the need for more independent journalism. Our distinguished guests shared these concerns and strongly assured us that they are constantly battling to ensure all ideas and viewpoints of Canadians are equally showcased. Our speakers also praised our energy sector here in Sarnia-Lambton and how essential we are for the continued economic growth of our country!

Events like these continue to highlight the strong conservative movement we have here in Sarnia-Lambton!💪🏼

What a fantastic day at the 2026 Sarnia Seniors Cruise! ☀️🛳️

Your Sarnia–Lambton–Bkejwanong Conservative Association was proud to serve as a Title Sponsor of this year’s Sarnia Senior Cruise, supporting a cherished community tradition that welcomes hundreds of seniors from across Lambton County to Sarnia’s beautiful waterfront each year.

Throughout the day, our Board members and volunteers had the pleasure of welcoming visitors to our booth, handing out complimentary bottled water, Canada Day pins, flags, and other goodies while connecting with so many members of our community. With temperatures climbing above 30°C, we were especially glad to help everyone stay cool and hydrated.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth! It was a pleasure catching up with so many familiar faces, meeting new friends, and sharing in such a wonderful day. We also extend our sincere thanks to the organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and everyone whose hard work made this year’s Seniors Cruise such a success.

We’re already looking forward to seeing everyone again at our upcoming summer BBQs in August—stay tuned for more details!

As we prepare to celebrate our country’s 159th birthday on Wednesday, we wish you and your loved ones a safe, enjoyable, and Happy Canada Day!

🔵What An Incredible Night🔵

Yesterday’s town hall brought together 350 engaged residents for an evening full of energy, discussion, and community spirit. It was a powerful reminder that people are paying attention and they care deeply about the future of their country!

The room was packed with residents, local supporters, and an impressive group of federal representatives! We were joined by our Deputy Leader of the Conservative Party of Canada Melissa Lantsman as well as Lianne Rood M.P., Andrew Lawton, Dave Epp, Kathy Borrelli, and Kurt Holman M.P.. Their presence helped make the evening even more meaningful, showing strong support for the issues that matter to everyday Canadians.

Throughout the night, people came forward with thoughtful questions, real concerns, and a clear desire for action. From affordability and responsible government to safer communities and stronger local opportunities, the discussion reflected the priorities that families, workers, seniors, and small businesses are talking about every day.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, asked questions, shared ideas, and helped make this town hall such a success!

And last but not least, thank you to Northern Perspective in their coverage of this amazing event! Conservatives will continue to stand up for independent media in our great country!🇨🇦

🔵UPDATE🔵

This past weekend, energy was high as more than 200 people came together for the Sarnia–Lambton–Bkejwanong Annual General Meeting and Town Hall on Agriculture. The turnout and the enthusiasm spoke volumes. For the first time in years, interest in joining the SLB Board of Directors was so strong that an election of officers was required. We were also joined by John Barlow, MP Foothills, Shadow Minister for Agriculture. He brought a fresh perspective with a behind-the-scenes look at what Conservatives are doing to strengthen our agriculture sector. He didn’t just speak; he engaged, leading a dynamic Town Hall conversation with attendees before heading out to tour three unique local agri-businesses.

We were also joined by neighbouring MP’s Lianne Rood M.P. (Middlesex–London) and Dave Epp(Chatham–Kent–Leamington), showing a united front and shared commitment to the future of our region and our country. Three days later, on April 21, the new board struck a Candidate Nomination Committee (CNC) of 3 board members and 2 members at large to initiate the search and selection of the Conservative candidate who will contest this riding in the next federal election. The inexplicable choice made by the incumbent SLB MP to cross the floor to the Liberals has shaken the SLB community but we remain strong in our Conservative vision of a Canada that is affordable, safe, and strong! We will continue to work for the people of Sarnia-Lambton-Bkejwanong‼️💪🏼🇨🇦
