Project Hope
This summer, The Salvation Army in Saskatoon is engaging with multiple community partners to establish a mobile housing case management support program called Project Hope. The goal of the project is to reach individuals and families living in structures and tents around Saskatoon to provide housing support, including immediate access to shelters, ID support, connecting to health services, and starting a path toward stable housing.
Twice per week, we send out a team of mobile caseworkers into our community whose goal is to connect with people living rough and help them find alternative housing plans.
We believe that all people are inherently born with dignity and therefore deserve the hope of stable housing.
Project Hope is about coming alongside people to help them envision and realize a future for themselves that is off the streets and accessing safe and appropriate housing.
