Prayers for everyone at Ecole St. Gerard School in Saskatoon on this feast of your namesake and patron!
Today we Redemptorists, together with our Partners in Mission and the entire Redemptorist Family throughout the world, joyfully celebrate the feast day of our sainted confrere, Brother Gerard Majella, C.Ss.R. In this year of the 300th anniversary of his birth in 1726, we rejoice in his holiness and in his humble witness to the love of Christ.
As we praise God for the gift of Saint Gerard's holy life as a Redemptorist Brother, we joyfully and gratefully celebrate all of our Brother confreres who follow the example of Saint Gerard by their vowed lives of witness and service to the Congregation and to the Church as Redemptorists.
Our Baltimore Province is especially blessed by the goodness of our Brother Confreres: Brothers Leonard Samuel, Jeffrey Rolle, George Armoogam, Gerard Saint Hilaire, Ken Stigner, and Augustus Riviere. Let us prayerfully remember these and all our Redemptorist Brother Confreres on this great day!
