Join us for an evening of celebration as Dakota Dunes Community Development Corporation marks 20 years of community impact, partnership, and shared progress.

The 20th Anniversary Gala will be held on June 23, 2026 at the Tatanka Room, Dakota Dunes Resort — a special gathering to honour the legacy built over the past two decades and the work that continues ahead.

Looking back on 20 years of impact, we recognize partnerships that continue to support families, communities, and future generations.

In 2024, Dakota Dunes Community Development Corporation donated $275,000 to the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation to support maternal health care for First Nations and non-First Nations families across Saskatchewan.

This contribution helped support the purchase of state-of-the-art maternal critical care equipment, along with culturally appropriate supplies such as smudging materials, moss bags, and belly button pouches.

As we celebrate 20 years, we are proud to reflect on moments that honour dignity, cultural respect, and care for expectant mothers and newborns.

In 2015–2016, READ Saskatoon worked with 3,880 community members as learners, participants, and volunteers.

Through volunteer engagement, programming, and community activities, the organization supported literacy development and made continued efforts to better engage the Aboriginal community.

Activities included Literacy Volunteer Orientation, Volunteer Tutor Training, Financial Literacy Guru Training, Merry Mix 2015 Volunteer Appreciation, and the 2016 Sylvia Vica Tutor Award.
