Our resident, Mr. Wayne Staton, invited the Preston Park 1 Friends to enjoy an afternoon watching an amazing air show.

The real highlight was Wayne’s very own remote-controlled airplane, which he built completely by himself using a TV cardboard box. Spoiler alert Wayne is 89 years old What a brilliant Man.

It took him three months to build, and we have to say, it was pretty awesome!

We saw some beautiful planes flying through the sky, and even a few unexpected crashes.
But not Wayne’s cardboard plane it stayed strong!
We had such a great afternoon filled with planes, laughter, good company, and a delicious lunch.

Thank you, Wayne, for inviting us, treating us to lunch, and sharing your amazing creation with us. We had a wonderful time!

Such a fun day spent in great company with friends! Our Preston Park 1 residents had a wonderful Wednesday day trip aboard the Prairie Lily, enjoying the beautiful river, sunshine, and each other’s company. Saskatoon sure is beautiful!

We are looking forward to our Prairie Lily cruise sightseeing excursion tomorrow for our Wednesday outing.
