We target systemic barriers arising from factors like racism, poverty, addiction, mental health, abuse, and incarceration. Incorporated in 1981, EFSK provides housing services, addiction services, court services, reintegration support, and cultural programming as part of our commitment to making a positive impact for community. We are committed to leading with compassion and understanding, embracing diversity and upholding individual strengths. 06/01/2026

June marks both Indigenous History Month and Pride Month, a time to honour the histories, voices, and ongoing resistance of Indigenous and 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.

At EFSK, this month is a reminder that justice, decolonization, and liberation are deeply connected. Indigenous and q***r communities have long led movements for safety, dignity, and belonging, often while facing the deepest impacts of colonialism, criminalization, and systemic harm.

The words on this graphic come from Aiyyana Maracle, a trans Haudenosaunee performance artist, activist, educator, and outspoken advocate for transgender and gender nonconforming people. Her work reminds us that pride is not only celebration. It is also resistance, advocacy, and a call for a future where all people can live freely and safely.

โœจ Culture is strength.
โœจ Pride is resistance.
โœจ Liberation is for all of us.
