We’re excited to share photos from the Festival of Cultures 2026 celebrated on June 27th! 🌟🌏

This year marked a special milestone as we came together for the first-ever celebration combining Canadian Multiculturalism Day and Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day, giving us the wonderful opportunity to honour the diversity, cultures, and Francophone heritage that enrich our community.

We were so grateful to collaborate with Centre Francophone de Sault-Sainte-Marie and Sault Community Career Centre to bring this celebration to life!

A huge thank you to the Sault Downtown Plaza for hosting us, 705 Live Sound for providing top notch audio support that helped every performance shine, Candice Newlove for capturing these wonderful moments, and to our fantastic emcees, Cristy Abagat, Suzanne Salituri, Alston Richards, and Jennilyne Bestre for keeping the energy high and guiding us through the day's celebrations.

A special thank you to our esteemed guest speakers, Councillor Sandra Hollingsworth and Kaitlyn Neveu, for helping us commemorate this celebration and for sharing your inspiring words with our community.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the youth drummers of Giigidoo Nimkii Drum Group for opening the day's performances and helping us begin the celebration in such a meaningful and memorable way.

Last, but not least, a massive thank you to all of our incredible vendors, performers, volunteers, and everyone who came out to celebrate with us. Thank you for making this inaugural celebration such an incredible success. We can't wait to do it again! ❤️🌎
