To Offer My Utmost Gratitude To The Divine Father For The Significant Occasion Of Rev. Peter Ajang's Ordination.

In reference to your ordination, Peter Ajang, I voiced praise for the deity we worship as the supreme power of possibility, performing tasks that are alignment with our desired outcomes. I am referring to Peter Ajang, a humble and charitable individual who follows the teachings of Christ. He is one of the few friends I have ever met. I am grateful that he is one of the conscious beings who have witnessed the benevolent actions in our existence. I now recognize and bless you with the responsibility to continue nourishing God's children.

Today, I am delighted to address you as Reverend Peter Ajang. I recall your past sermons in Dadaab, as well as your role as the chairperson of the Dadaab Refugee United Christian Churches. It was a remarkable opportunity that one does not easily forget. Lastly, I recall a time when others referred to us as P-Square. I was almost inclined to listen intently, as it is what defined us as the P-Square of Drucc, which is an integral aspect of our identity. Lastly, I would like to remind you of your notable achievements, particularly for those who have been unfamiliar with your journey thus far.
Leadership, Leading the 21 Churches has been challenging, but we are grateful for the collaboration and divine assistance that have enabled us to accomplish the following.

Conferences, Four conferences were organized, one in Ifo, one in Ifo One, one in Daghale Church, and one in Garissa. These conferences were supervised by Drucc.

Distribution of the Bible, The Youth Department of the Dadaab International Worshipping Centre (DIWC) gave physical copies of the Bible on two occasions, totalling 438 copies, to Refugee Churches with the assistance of the Dadaab Refugee Camp Committee (DRUCC). Two missionary ministries released two types of Audio Bibles: one in local languages such as Somalia, Oromo, Nuer, and Dinka, and another in English translations. Activate Ministry collaborated with World Mission to distribute the English versions.

Clothing distribution – DIWC provided clothing to churches that serve refugees.

The Sheepfold Ministry, under the leadership of Pastor David Wambwa, distributed food on two occasions. However, their operations in Dadaab were discontinued owing to the closing of the camp by the Kenyan government. We hope and pray that they will be able to resume their aid to Christian churches in the future.

The financial limits hindered our ability to send pastors to other churches to preach, therefore disrupting the programs we had established for these pastors to preach in other churches.

DRUCC has established a close relationship with other Christians from Somalia, providing them with both spiritual and practical help.

Enabling churches and youth organizations to obtain passes for attending conferences and training sessions outside of Dadaab. And touring all officially registered churches affiliated with Drucc.

And drafting the Drucc Constitution, proposing and designing a logo and Handing over new leadership to a New team.

Finally, may the divine being, whom we refer to as God, persist in safeguarding and bestowing favour upon you and your family, Reverend Peter Ajang. I am pleased that you have received the ordination, as it aligns with God's desire for you to carry out his divine purpose. Rev Peter, you are indeed colleagues and coworkers who embody truth. I discovered more space when I deputized you as the deputy chair of DRUCC.

Wishing you a wonderful New Year in 2024.

Bawau,
Former Deputy Chair of DRUCC

Members of My Audience: Dedicate your life to God, as my family and I have done.

My faith in God has consistently had great significance in my life. In my young life, my family expressed an unwavering dedication to God.

I went to church to establish a connection with God. As I aged and developed my opinions and perspectives, my faith emerged as a crucial aspect of my identity that blessed me with a sense of purpose.

Christianity shapes my daily moral and ethical judgments. The opportunity to engage with like-minded folks who share my perspectives provides me with a strong sense of community and belonging.

I acknowledge that religion has the potential to create divisions among people, and I hold a deep regard for the viewpoints of others.

I believe that cultivating a broad-minded and inclusive attitude towards others, irrespective of their religious beliefs, is of utmost significance.

Christianity has a significant impact on both my life and my values. It provides me with a sense of purpose and enables me to confront life's challenges with a positive outlook and confidence.

To address your concerns, I can assure you that prayer is a more accessible method of establishing a connection with God.

Philippian 4:6-7

May God continue to rain blessings upon you and protect you.
