🍂 This week has been a bit chilly at Rainbow Falls, so we thought it would be the perfect time to show off our cozy long sleeved plaid Ontario Parks shirts!

⚠️PARK UPDATE⚠️

The fire ban has been lifted for Rainbow Falls Provincial Park, effective Thursday, August 20th, 2026, at 12:01 am.

A few friendly reminders regarding fires in the park:

❌ It is illegal to burn driftwood or other deadfall in our campgrounds
🪵Firewood and kindling can be purchased from the gatehouse
🔥 Fires are only permitted within designated fire pits
💦Never leave campfires unattended and always ensure they are extinguished completely before leaving your campsite or going to bed

Bringing your pet camping can be a fantastic experience not just for you, but for them as well! The staff at Rainbow Falls want to ensure that each and every visitor can enjoy their time at the park. 🌈🐕⛺

We have a few reminders for all pet parents:
• Always keep dogs on a leash no longer than 2 metres (6 feet) in length, unless in a designated off-leash area.
‣This means that dogs should be on a leash while on campsites, walking around the campground, on hikes, and anywhere else that is not designated as an off-leash area. Rainbow Falls does have a off leash dog swimming area. If you would like more information, please see gate staff.
• Do not allow dogs to damage or disturb park vegetation and wildlife.
• Do not leave dogs unattended or allow them to make excessive noise.
• Pick up after your dog’s waste.
• Dogs are not permitted in the following areas:
‣ beaches and swimming areas (unless a designated dog beach).
‣ comfort stations.
‣ all areas posted prohibiting domestic animals (service animals excluded).
