Scotsburn - Our Community Welcome to our village where our hearts are big, our sense of community is strong and our streets are Our history is based on farming, hard work, and family.

Our sweet village is located at the foot of the beautiful Fitzpatrick Mountain, between Lyon's Brook and West Branch. The main industries are Scotsburn Cooperative Services and Scotsburn Lumber Limited, with some other great small businesses, as well. We have an elementary school, a post office, a fire hall, the JP Gammon Rec Centre and two churches. There is always lots on the go, so be sure to check in here for the latest information.

I am a Social Worker in the community & am looking for furniture items to kick-start a new apartment for a young person 🪴🏡

If you have the following gently used items for free, or extremely low cost:
- A couch
- Loveseat/Chair
- Very small dining set
- Dish set
- Coffee Table
- Bedside tables
Or anything of this nature please comment, or DM me.

We have access to 2 SUV's, and can pick up anywhere in Pictou County.
If you have a couch, or anything large - a truck for transportation would be needed. I am able to offer a gift card from our organization as payment for your troubles delivering.
