Our library hours link up with the second half of the market's hours, so if you're doing some shopping between 1 and 3, make sure to pop in and treat yourself a book too! No card required. See you Saturday!

It’s only one week to our Grand Opening for the market season. Please come and join us on Saturday, May 2nd from 11am-3pm. All your favourite vendors will be there, plus a few new ones! Looking forward to seeing all your familiar faces.

Our new pilot program brings hand-selected boxes of books right to your door. Volunteers curate the selection based on what you like to read -- mystery, romance, children’s books, large-print, non-fiction, and more.

This service is especially meant for:
• Seniors
• Hospital patients
• People with mobility challenges
• Busy families
• Anyone who can’t make it to our 1-3 p.m. Saturday hours

📚🚗 We’re Bringing the Library to You! 🚗📚

Our little community library may only be open from 1-3 on Saturdays, but we know stories shouldn't have such limited hours.

So we’re launching a NEW pilot program: Library Delivery Boxes!

Volunteers will hand-select a box of books and deliver it to:
• Individuals and families
• Multi-apartment residences
• Seniors
• Hospital patients
• Anyone who can't make it to our regular Saturday hours

Tell us what you like to read (mystery, romance, children’s books, large print, non-fiction, etc.), and our volunteers will curate a selection just for you.

This is a trial program, so we're starting small, but if there's interest, we'd love to expand.

Thanks to generous donations, our New Books shelves are bulging with fresh reads. Whether you’re in the mood for sci-fi, mysteries, biographies, thrillers, romance, poetry, or more, there’s truly something for everyone.

Start the year with a new story, support your local library, and come see what’s new on our shelves!

And if you’re doing a bit of post-Christmas decluttering, we’re always happy to accept book donations. Your gently loved books help keep our community library thriving.

The Davis Bay Library is tucked inside the Community Hall, a space we share with so many wonderful community groups and events. This Friday, Oct. 10, we invite all our library friends and neighbours to lend a hand at the Community Hall & Park Clean-Up from 10 am to 1 pm.

PS: We're open today from 1-3! Stop in and see part of what makes this hall so special -- no card required to borrow books!
