Selkirk & District Seniors Resource Council Inc. Support Services to Seniors is a small team with a big mission: to help older adults (65+) stay safely independent in their own homes! of St. Andrews, R.M.

We truly believe that we all have the right to age with grace and dignity. All of our programs are available to residents who pay taxes to the R.M. Clements or The City of Selkirk. Our community based programs are designed to assist older adults (65+) to maintain their independent living status. All of the Support Services Programs are provided throughout the combined efforts of dedicated voluntee

rs, fee-for-service workers and Support Services staff. Each volunteer or fee-for-service worker has been reference checked and must provide Support Services with a recent criminal check. The Coordinators regulate the minimal fees, schedule and organize the volunteer staff and form the operational nucleus of the program. Each year the RM holds its Annual Open House where residents can check out the many displays and information booths from organizations in and around the community, meet Mayor and Council and enjoy some great refreshments.

This year we are excited to announce the Annual Open House will be taking place:
Date & Time: Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Location: St. Andrews Community Club (28 St. Andrews Road, St. Andrews)

This is a great opportunity for residents to obtain information and meet others from the neighbourhood. The fire department will have equipment on display and they always enjoy engaging with the little ones making it fun for everyone. It is great family event and we welcome everyone to come join us. The open house will be held rain or shine and moved indoors if necessary so mark you calendars and come check it out!
