Did you know Council took down the live stream of Council meetings. They say its for internal use only. That's not very transparent of them. Very disappointed.
The following is Council Highlights on this topic from July 12, 2021 Council Meeting:
Update on Virtual Attendance, Live Streaming of Council and Committee of the Whole Meetings – Virtual participation and live streaming options were initially approved in response to the COVID-19 public health guidance around gathering limits. On July 12, 2021, Council directed Administration to amend the Procedural Bylaw to allow Councillors limited virtual participation, with restrictions as determined by Council. The Bylaw will be brought to a future Council Meeting for Council’s review. Council directed Administration to discontinue live streaming to the public once in-person attendance and capacity restrictions have been lifted in the Council Chambers.

Voter Eligibility:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must reside in the Province of Alberta and in Division 9
Must be Canadian

Voter Identification:
2 pieces of ID that show that you live in Division 9
If its a PO Box and can reasonably assumed you live in Division 9 that's ok.
Check here for pieces of ID that can be accepted and other information for voters.

As most may know I am running for Council to best serve you. The following are some of my priorities so far. If you have more to add to the list please contact me at [email protected] or give me a call 780-296-1695.
- Teepee Creek Fire Hall Replacement;
- Emergency Services access and wait times;
- Rural Policing;
- Province replacing RCMP with Provincial Policing. The general consensus across Alberta is not in support of this;;
- Electricity Transmission Charges;
- Advocacy with the Province and Feds on various other issues.
