Sunday, May 28th is fast approaching.we are hosting a fundraising walk in support of the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides.Registration for this year will take place at 1:00 PM with the walk getting underway at 2:00.The walk will proceed from the Drop inn on a signed route going past the Personal Care Home and into the Lions Park, ending back at the Drop Inn. BBQ'd hotdogs and drinks will be available at the end of the walk.
Looking forward to seeing you there- bring your pledges and help raise Moneyfor a very worthwhile cause.

This evening we hosted the District Governor's visiting Zone 3 of District 5M13. In attendance were Lion members and their spouses from Shoal Lake, Oakburn, Erickson, Elphinstone, Sandy Lake, Strathclair , Strathclair Lioness, and visiting club members from Birtle and Rossburn.
A delicious beef supper was enjoyed by all, followed by an address from DG Lion Gord Kingdon. The evening ended with numerous presentations of pins, Hope medals, and Governor Award pins.

On December 16, Shoal Lake and Oakburn Lions celebrated their annual Christmas gathering. An outstanding group of 40+ people enjoyed good food and better company. On behalf of both clubs We wish all a merry holiday and an even better year to follow in 2017.
