Healing spirit this week in Kenora, Ontario for adult and youth. We are excited to offer our indigenous youth of turtle Island an opportunity to explore who they are and where they come from. We encourage our youth to embrace who they are, and pick up the teachings and understandings of our beautiful families.

S.I.D.S. “Self Induced Death Syndrome” is a terminology created by Indigenous program facilitator and traditional practitioner Jason Bailey.

It’s about moving away from Su***de, focusing on healing and moving forward using the positive parts of the ancestral Indigenous practices of Turtle Island.

We were never a/the problem; and today our teachings are still the solution.

We need to rediscover our historical value, and put to rest the colonial confusion! These are the teachings of the Inukshuk.

This states that if you are practicing one teaching, your practicing them all!

Healing spirit? Have you ever wondered where your family comes from. The healing spirit program is a journey to a place that makes all humans equal and Indigenous.

The program is designed to target individuals who are experiencing symptoms and barriers related to the colonial process and the intergenerational trauma spectrum. The program identifies key flaws in todays institutional systems to assist individuals who may be indentifying as “self being a problem or burden to society”. Establishing balance in the mental, spiritual, and physical challenges in the modern and contemporary Civil society is the goal of the program.
