The Thunder Bay Indigenous Friendship Centre's Indigenous Language Revitalization Program is offering a FREE Anishinaabemowin Beginner Language Class!

TREATY PAYMENTS
Available to all Indigenous Peoples registered to frist Nations located in Canada that have signed a Treaty which states that annuities are to be received annually/bi-annually by the Crown.

Date: Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2025
Time: 11:00 am to 5:00 pm
Government issued photo identification is required to receive payment.

Reminder:
- Must be 13 years of age or older to pick up your treaty annuity
- No third-party pickups. Third-party notes are not accepted
- Bring your status card or other identification for yourself, your children, and your spouse

The conference brings together ICFWB practitioners, leadership and community members to share the latest advancements and best practices in Indigenous Child and Family services including capacity-building strategies, practice-based insights, updates on settlement agreements, and advancing First Nations sovereignty.

Get ready, Thunder Bay! A Youth Wellness Hub is a welcoming, youth-friendly space where those aged 12–25 can access integrated services under one roof—mental health, substance use support, primary care, community programs, and so much more—all at no cost.

Our goal? To provide the right services, in the right place, at the right time. Stay tuned as we prepare to open the new Hub in the Thunder Bay community!
