Northern Ontario Sportfishing Centre The Northern Ontario Sportfishing Centre is a Tourist Information Centre & Museum showcasing exhibits from the Sioux Narrows and surrounding areas.

We also house The Science North Nature Exchange Program. Come visit us from May - October. The Northern Ontario Sportfishing Centre is a 4,600 square foot complex on the shores of Lake of the Woods in downtown Sioux Narrows. The Centre hosts the largest sport fishing museum in the area with its emphasis on Lake of The Woods & the Sioux Narrows area. Now open 7 days a week to assist tourists & the

community with vast information on local attractions, fishing & camping, interactive displays, and community events. The Government docks provides easy access by water to the Centre, as well as ample vehicle parking right outside the door. The local shops are all within easy walking distance.

Lots of activity at the Sportfishing Centre today. Grandparents, parents and kids of all ages had fun exploring all the displays. Fun was had in the Nature Exchange room checking out rocks and bugs through the lenses of our microscopes. Kids added their artwork to our display with colouring many pictures of different types of fish and the great outdoors.

Katie our Trail Lead updated everyone on all the trails in Nestor Falls and Sioux Narrows.
