Think you’ve got a Master Angler on the line?
Recently, Jay Siemens visited Sioux Narrows–Nestor Falls to take on the Master Angler Challenge, chasing three trophy-class fish that qualify for our Master Angler Program.
The Master Angler Program through the Northern Ontario Sportfishing Centre recognizes anglers who catch fish that reach impressive trophy sizes. If your catch meets the qualifying length, you can submit your catch through our website and have your fish recognized as a master angler catch from the Lake of the Woods region!
Our waters in Sioux Narrows–Nestor Falls are known for producing incredible fish, and the best part is you can fish here all year round and target so many species. From open-water adventures in the summer to world-class ice fishing in the winter and every season in between there’s always an opportunity to land a fish worthy of the Master Angler list.
