Slocan Valley Community Service Society Slocan Valley Community Service Society provides programs and services that actively engage individuals and families in the Slocan Valley. W.E. Canada.

Graham Community Service Society (WEGCSS) is located at 1001 Harold Street, Slocan BC. The Society serves the village of Slocan as well as the outlying rural communities of the Slocan Valley, a service area which encompasses most of area H of the regional district of Central Kootenay. WEGCSS is managed by a board of directors, elected annually at the societies AGM, from the membership list. Our f

acility is home to the Slocan Youth Centre, Slocan Valley Food Cupboard, Valhalla Children's Centre, and the Learning Centre, all of which are operated by WEGCSS. We also run a Seniors Lunch program and Food Recovery program and administrate and facilitate other community services here and in the surrounding community including counselling services, art therapy, Strong Start, After School Sports and Arts Initiative, Networks for New Parents and Kootenay Restorative Justice.

☀️ SUMMER CAMP 2026 REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN! ☀️

Looking for an unforgettable summer filled with fun, friendship, creativity, and adventure? Join us for SVCSS Summer Camp 2026!

Our camps are designed to help children Ages 5 - 12 build friendships, gain confidence, explore new interests, and create lasting memories through hands-on activities, games, outdoor play, and creative experiences.

🔬 STEM Camp
💦 Water Fun Camp
🎭 Theatre Camp
🎨Summer Art Camp

📍 Camps are offered in Slocan and Winlaw Hall throughout July and August.

Camp Fees: $40 per day: 10am to 3pm
Optional Extended Care: Add Early Drop-Off @ 9am and Late Pick-Up @ 4pm for an additional $20 per day.

Spaces are limited and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
