🤝 Share this post to help spread the word!

No donation is too small. Every dollar, every gift, and every act of kindness helps us bring a little more joy to someone’s holiday season.

Let’s come together as a community and make sure more families have something to smile about this Holiday. Because sometimes, the greatest gift we can give is the reminder that no one has to face the holidays alone. ❤️

✨ Hey folks in New Denver, Silverton and Hills! ✨

We have 4 spots available for a special stained-glass workshop with Lori Steele of Dragonfly Ceramics, sponsored by the TAPS program! 💛

And the best part? All costs, transportation and lunch are covered! 🥰 This is a wonderful opportunity to get out, connect with others, try something creative and enjoy a special day together.

🌿 How can you enter the draw?

To be eligible, you must:

Be 65 years or older

Be experiencing social isolation and in need of connection

Be unable to comfortably afford this opportunity otherwise

Be available for the full day on Tuesday, November 24

Attend a TAPS event and register by Thursday, November 12, at 4 p.m.

Haven't registered for TAPS before? No problem! We'll provide a one-time intake and waiver for you to complete.

You can attend whichever TAPS event works best for you! Keep in mind Week 1 requires pre-registration through our Community Connector, while Weeks 2 and 3 are open for drop-ins. See TAPS calendars on our Page for your reference to your area.

🎉 Stained-glass workshop winners will be contacted Friday, November 13!

❤️ There's another opportunity, too!

After the stained-glass draw, we'll hold a separate draw for 5 transportation spots to enjoy a warm, delicious lunch prepared by our Seniors Lunch program in Slocan.

Those selected will also be contacted directly. So, even if you aren't selected for the stained-glass workshop, you could still join us for lunch, good food and great company! 🥰

Please let us know if you do NOT wish to be entered into a specific draw. The deadline for both opportunities is November 13.

We'd love to see more folks from New Denver, Silverton and the surrounding area take advantage of these opportunities to connect, create and enjoy some time together!

We hope to see you at TAPS!
