We've had so much fun with Summer Reading Club 2026; now it's time to party! Join us on August 12th from 3-4 pm for our Summer Wrap Up Party, with special guests from Telkwa Fire Rescue.

The Telkwa Reading Centre is a special community gem, offering a welcoming space for book lovers of all ages. We are grateful for the dedicated volunteers who keep this little library alive and continue to create opportunities for connection and learning in our community.

Throughout the year, the Reading Centre hosts a variety of programs and events, including:

• Art and craft evenings
• Community gatherings and more

We are down to the final 3 weeks of Summer Reading Club! Join us today for our last regular meeting. August 5th will be a drop in day for self-serve activities. Then our Summer Wrap Up Party on August 12th featuring Telkwa Fire Smart and the fire truck!

Telkwa Night Market was amazing! Thank you to everyone who stopped by; we loved seeing you all. ❤️ Well done and thank you to Martina Wall at Village of Telkwa and everyone else who was part of making this event happen. 👏 🎊

Yes, we are OPEN until 9 pm for the Telkwa Night Market! We have our used book sale set up outside, and our craft table is set up inside if you would like a bit of shade. Stay safe in the sun, friends, it is VERY hot down here right now! 🌞

Today is the day for Ocean Yoga with Charlotte! Join us at 2:30 on the TRC lawn.

We have a very exciting addition to Summer Reading Club coming up! Ocean Yoga with Charlotte; July 22, 2:30 pm on the TRC lawn, for all ages! Our regular summer reading club activities will follow after yoga.

We are very excited to be participating in the Telkwa Night Market! Stop by to see us if you need a good book or even just a bit of shade.

We have more than just vendors and music!
- The Flake Cafe has partnered with us for this event and will be open late to serve up all the goodness they offer!
- Poutine Shack Food Truck will be there!
- Telkwa Reading Centre is open late, find a good book!
- Be sure to check out All for Less Warehouse!
- Riverbend Ice Cream will be serving up ice cream!
- Telkwa Museum will be open, be sure to check out all the local history and wonderful displays they have created!
