Over the last few months, the ELMS Program has launched posters addressing misinformation involving newcomers in our community. The posters are outlining how false or misleading information can affect one's human rights, affect our community, and what we can do to stop it from spreading.

This project was funded and supported by BC's Human Rights Commissioner, as a part of their "Misinformation: Can you Stop It? Campaign".

Save the date! Service Canada and CRA Outreach will be in the community on May 25, 2026, providing an in-person clinic. Make sure to bring your government-issued, valid photo ID when you come!
o Are you getting all the CRA Benefits and Credits you are entitled to?
o Did you know you can apply for your Social Insurance Number in-person, right here in the community?
o Need to change your address or banking information?
