โ„น๏ธ Be a buddy! Teens ages 13-17 can earn volunteer hours by becoming a reading buddy, helping children aged 5-11 improve their reading skills using books and literacy based games. Music and Movement Storytime

โ„น๏ธ A 6-week story time program for toddlers that incorporates movement games alongside early literacy to help develop better physical awareness, improve gross and fine motor skills and learn how to navigate social movement relationships. Recommended for children ages 3 to 5. Drop-in.

Cricut Craft Club
๐Ÿ•’ Thursday at 1:00pm
๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Smithville Branch
โ„น๏ธ The craft club is a 2-hour monthly program that teaches a new project each month to showcase the amazing crafting ability of the Cricut Maker 3 and Cricut Design Space. No experience is necessary. Cost is $7 per person (cash only), non-refundable. Recommended for adults and seniors. Registration is required.

Seed Savers Club
๐Ÿ•’ Thursday at 6:30pm
๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ Wellandport Branch
โ„น๏ธ The Seed Savers Club meets on the second Thursday of each month. Club members collect, grow and share heirloom seeds and plants. We share gardening knowledge and experience. We help to stock the seed libraries at the West Lincoln branches and promote seed diversity in the community. The club also helps with the year-round care and maintenance of the Wellandport Indigenous Healing Garden. Drop-ins are welcome.

D&D in the Library

๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ We're proud to announce the installation of a new Pride bench located in the garden outside of the Community Centre, on the south side near the Smithville Branch of the West Lincoln Public Library.

This Pride bench represents a meaningful step toward fostering inclusivity, visibility and belonging within our community.

Did you know that we had local author Kari-Lynn Winters lead our first writing club in May? Write Now! is a new program that allows writers of all skill levels to exploit new ideas, partake in group activities, and network with fellow writers. โœ๏ธ

Our next session will be on June 27th with local author K.S. Mandeville, looking at how to write romantic tension. Registration is required and open now!
