✨Meet the Team✨
This is Rae Laval. She has been a volunteer at the library for 10 years! Her favourite Book is Winnie the Pooh by A.A. Milne.
Rae has square danced in every province in Canada except for Newfoundland (because they couldn’t coordinate the ferry schedule and dance schedules) and 9 states in the U.S.!

✨Meet the Team!✨

Meet Debra Wright. She works at the library as Assistance Librarian and has been at the library for 15 years!
Debra’s favourite book is The Memory Keepers Daughter by Kim Edwards.
Something interesting about Debra is that she is taking karate with her son. She has her orange belt and is going for her green belt. She is hoping to obtain her 1st degree black belt!
Way to go Debra!

✨Meet the team!✨

This is Connie Bradshaw. She is the Library Administrator and has been with the library for 18 years!

Here’s what Connie said about her favourite book:
The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck was introduced to me by my senior high school English teacher, Mr. Refvik. It is a powerful story of the Joad family during the Great Depression. The themes of social inequality and ecological disaster still mirror many of the concerns in our world today, but the book also shows the incredible strength, kindness, and resilience of people during devastating times.

And a fun fact about Connie is that she has 500-day streak on Duolingo! She is learning Dutch because her grandchildren live in Holland and speak Dutch as their first language.
