Sir John Johnson Manor House

Sir John Johnson Manor House On of the oldest houses in Ontario, the Sir John Johnson Manor House houses the Glengarry Archives. Some of our records date as far back as the late 1700's.

The Glengarry Archives were established in order to stimulate interest and facilitate local history and genealogical research. People come from across North America to search the archives while tracing their family history. The Archives are located within the Manor House in the quiet, historic village of Williamstown, Ontario.

CLARIFICATION: THESE ARE NOT GROOMED TRAILS...JUST WELL PACKED BY OTHER SNOWSHOERS AND SKIDOOS.If you are looking for some great snow shoeing trails you don't have to leave Williamstown. The parkland around the Manor House
has many packed trails to follow. Get out and enjoy winter before it is gone. In the foreground of this picture is our Black Walnut Heritage Tree (approx. 227 years old) and by the house is our Bur Oak ( approx. 277 years old). If those trees could talk.
