The Bishop's House A National Historic Site in St. Raphael’s, Ontario The Bishop’s House in St. It is an element in the celebrated Ruins of St. Raphael’s National Historic Site.

Raphael’s, Glengarry County, Ontario, built in 1808, is among the oldest and most historic buildings in Ontario. But it has fallen into disrepair. A citizens’ group, the Glengarry Fencibles Trust, is determined — with your help — to restore the building and make it a vital part of the community again.

We’re delighted to bring back the Summer Sunday Concert Series at the Bishop’s House.

Join us every Sunday until August 24th from 2:00–4:00 PM for live outdoor concerts featuring beloved local talent, from traditional Glengarry fiddling to Celtic ensembles and more.

Bring your lawn chairs, soak in the sounds, and enjoy the relaxed summer atmosphere. Concerts are held inside when it is very hot or rainy.

A Glengarry launch for the book, The Women of SDG & Akwesasne.

At the Bishop's House on Sept. 15 at 1:30, author Ginette Guy Mayer will discuss the three extraordinary Glengarry women featured in her new book.

They are Dorothy Dumbrille, the author; Edith Rayside, Matron and Chief of nurses in WW1; and Annie MacDonald Langstaff who fought to become a lawyer.

Having Annie's history presented at the Bishop’s House is especially meaningful because her only daughter Sister/Mother Andrea was the bursar at Iona Academy for years.

The book will be available for sale on the day for $20, with all proceeds going to the United Way.

Merry Christmas everyone. These 2 beautiful dogs showed up at our farm just now county road 25, just east of Chapel road. Does anyone recognize them ? They are very friendly. Please share.
