The Spanish Public Library 2025 Calendars are available.

This year, since so many of you really liked them for the pictures, we are trying something new. The picture at the top of the calendar is printed on photo paper. Not only do you get to enjoy the picture for 2025, you can remove it and place it in a frame, scrapbook or photo album. Each calendar comes with one picture. Presently we have 5 different pictures to choose from. The bottom with the calendar is a tear-off or removable calendar. The calendar is held in place with Chicago posts (screw posts).

Spanish Public Library is hosting a book reading and signing by author Judii Merle for her debut novel, Wabanang ... An Anishinaabe grandaughter's search for the truth. A story about an Anishinaabe girl who is search for information about her grandmother, who she never met. It is set in Northern Ontario in fictitious town and fictitious residential school about the dehumanizing residential school experience, as seen through the eyes of her granddaughter.

Join us at the library on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 1:30 pm to meet the author and hear her read a selection from her novel.

Wonderful news! Remote access to Ancestry Library Edition has been extended until September 30, 2021. To access, visit the library catalogue at https://olsn.ent.sirsidynix.net/client/en_US/spanish/ and then log into your library account (top right). Once you are logged in, click on the Ancestry Library Edition icon and it will take you to website.

Don’t forget to pick up your copy of the Spanish Public Library “Through the Years” history calendar. We are only open today until 5 and tomorrow (Friday) 10:00am to 2:00pm. Then we are closed until the New Year (Jan 5, 2021). Still only $10.00 and the funds raised go to the Library.

This year our Seasonal Holiday Break will take place from December 19, 2020 to January 4, 2021. We will return on January 5, 2021. Be sure to get your reading material for the holidays before 2 pm on December 18, 2020. We will be monitoring this page as well as the history pages (Spanish Public Library History Pages) and the Spanish Public Library Group , along with our email during that time.
