Saddle Hills County The Wilderness is our Back Yard
located in the Central Peace Region of Northern Alberta

Situated in the Central Peace Region of northwestern Alberta, Saddle Hills County is located approximately 500 kilometres north of Edmonton and only 40 kilometres north of Grande Prairie. Home to a diverse agricultural community, Saddle Hills County also contains rich deposits of natural gas and oil for which Alberta is so well known. With the beautiful Peace River Valley forming our northern boundary and the Saddle Hills to the south, we offer picturesque landscapes filled with stunning contrasts and abundant wildlife. Elk, moose and deer are just a few of the wild animals that roam our deep river valleys, lush wooded hillsides and rolling plains.

The Do More Agriculture Foundation’s Talk Ask Listen workshop is a tailored mental health initiative designed specifically to address the unique stressors faced by producers, farm families and agricultural workers.
The half-day, interactive session equips participants with practical communication tools to recognize signs of mental health struggles, initiate supportive conversations, active listening strategies without attempting to "fix" problems, and direct peers toward appropriate professional resources.
