Today we celebrate older adults across Canada and especially in our community, whether parent, co-worker, neighbour or friend. Our Squamish seniors are our mentors, teachers, and role models. The District of Squamish is proud to acknowledge and honour the contributions seniors make to our community every day.

The Aquatic Centre is reopening on Friday, September 25!

We’re excited to reopen our facility and welcome you back. At the same time, we are still operating with a shortage of aquatics positions in our Recreation and Culture department.

To ensure a safe and comfortable experience for everyone, there may be times when the pool reaches capacity. In those instances, patrons will have the option to wait in our Aquatics Centre lobby or leave and return at a later time.

We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this period of time. Please visit squamish.ca/rec for updates. 🫶
